Sweet Citrus Sage Blueberries

 

Add an extra zing of sweetness with the soothing flavor of sage for a simple, antioxidant-rich topping, side dish, or salsa!

 

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Servings: 4

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup fresh blueberries

  • Juice of 1 large lemon

  • 2 Tbsp fresh sage leaves, chopped

  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

  • 1 tsp honey

 

Preparation

1. In a medium bowl combine lemon juice, honey, and cinnamon.

2. Add blueberries and sage. Mix well.

3. Refrigerate for at least one hour to let flavors sink in, then enjoy alone, on your salad, with pita chips, or even over cheese and crackers!
