Warm Sunbutter & Berry Oatmeal

Oatmeal is a very high fiber breakfast option and is great for promoting healthy digestion and can even help lower blood cholesterol levels. Try topping your hot oatmeal with a creamy sunbutter to get a warm and melted boost of flavor in your breakfast to start the day off right! The cranberries give this breakfast bowl a crunchy burst of tart flavor to make those taste buds jump for joy, and they provide a ton of antioxidants to help prevent disease and keep you healthy!

 

Servings: 1

 

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup oats

  • 1/4 cup 1% milk

  • 2 Tbsp creamy Sunbutter

  • 1/8 cup blackberries

  • 1/8 cup fresh cranberries

  • 2 Tbsp chopped walnuts

 

Preparation:

 

  1. Combine oats and milk in a microwave safe bowl. Microwave 2 minutes (or until hot and most liquid has been absorbed), stirring halfway through.

  2. Add Sunbutter and combine with oats.

  3. Add berries and walnuts and lightly combine. Serve warm.
