"Fun in the Sun"
Summer Peach Sangria
...because everyone needs a "go to" summertime party drink for a little fun in the sun!
Why not enjoy with a little less sugar and extra antioxidants by using a sugar-free seltzer water and 100% juice for that sweet summer flavor?!
Servings: Makes about 2.5 gallons
Ingredients:
-
1 bottle rose wine
-
1 bottle dry white wine
-
1/4 cup berry flavored vodka
-
1/4 cup peach schnapps
-
1 cup 100% peach juice
-
1/2 bottle peach seltzer water
-
1/2 bottle strawberry seltzer water
-
2 nectarines or peaches, washed and sliced
-
2 oranges, peeled and sliced
-
2 cups strawberries, washed and sliced (frozen strawberries can be added before serving to keep the sangria cold instead of using ice to prevent watering down the flavor!)
-
10 fresh basil leaves
Preparation:
-
Add all ingredients into a large pitcher or beverage dispenser. Let sit in refrigerator overnight to allow the fruit to release more flavor.
-
Taste test the sangria and adjust the amount of juice/seltzer as needed, depending on your sweetness preferences.
-
Serve with a few pieces of the fruit in each glass, or a frozen strawberry!
