Easy Sautéed Collard Greens

 

Servings: 2

 

Ingredients: 

  • 1 large head of fresh collard green leaves, washed, dried, and chopped (remove hard stems)

  • 2 Tbsp olive oil

  • 4-6 cloves of fresh garlic (depending how much you like), crushed

  • small sprinkle of salt

  • pepper to taste

  • small sprinkle of crushed red pepper

 

Preparation:

1. Heat olive oil in a non-stick pan over medium-heat.

2. Add garlic cloves and let sit for approximately two minutes.

3. Add collard greens, salt, and pepper. Sautée until greens shrink down and are wilted, approximately 8-10 minutes.
